Good Luck Mr. Croft!

Not only has Mrs Salter retired (see my previous blog post), but my old pal Mr. Croft has now also left Bower Grove School, after 11 years since he first joined and I met him in September 2011, and 10 years since we recorded and released my infamous debut single, "Mean Mikey" (and my two follow-up original songs "A Dream" and "Can't You See Me") which wouldn't have been possible without him. (He did the voice of Mean Mikey's dad in the song flawlessly; I doubt my own old man could have done any better himself!). In my entire seven years at Bower Grove School, there was not a single teacher whom I had a stronger bond with than him. Not only was he my maths teacher (I used to think maths was boring before he joined the school; he made the lessons a lot more enjoyable and entertaining), but he was also my form tutor in Year 9 - from 2012 to 2013 - which still remains my all time favourite school year of my seven years at Bower Grove, and taught me GCSE Music in Year 10 and Year 11, which helped secure my place on the Level 1 Music Performance course at MidKent College in September 2015. I wouldn't have gone on to achieve all I have achieved in the last seven years since leaving school had it not been for his teaching. I wish my former mentor all the best with his new job. Love you, Crofty! Thanks for everything! ♥️
